French Chateau Wedding Style

Three words jump out at me looking at this gorgeous styled shoot – modern, romance, elegance. The relaxed palette is stunning and lends a contemporary edge to a traditional building. Perfect for readers of Way Out Wedding! Meg from Wild Fern told me all about the shoot…
“This incredible shoot was organised by lovely Nicola Dixon from Wild Ones. The venue, The Compton Gallery, a beautiful wedding venue and art gallery nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, was the perfect backdrop for the stylish yet relaxed theme. It reminds me of a French château with its golden stone, large courtyard and elegant gardens.”

“And so our French château inspired shoot exuded style and modern elegance. Neutral tones and textures were juxtaposed with Jessica Bennett’s beautiful structured, modern gowns.”

“Lianne, from Blonde Army, worked her styling magic and thought of every little detail. The table arrangements were a mixture of white and neutral tones, along with a hint of gold through the cutlery. Sass Flower, created an incredible table display of both dried and fresh flowers, along with a bridal bouquet, floral arch and table plan arrangement. The designs were dynamic and real show stoppers!”

“Organiser Nicola Dixon has a great eye and knows some of the most talented suppliers in the industry. This was a power team, for sure! All of the suppliers share a similar aesthetic and this is what makes a brilliant styled shoot.”

“ The shoot will inspire modern, stylish and relaxed couples. They have a fine eye for detail but also want their day to be relaxed and fun. This shoot was built around warm, neutral tones along with modern and creative styling. The Cotswolds is one of the most popular destinations for weddings and has many beautiful venues built from the iconic Cotswold Stone. This creates a lovely warm backdrop that can replicate a French or Italian venue! To recreate this vibe, look for a venue with a courtyard as this is a great space for relaxing and enjoying fizz and canapés! Add natural textures, dried flowers and modern stationery to bring your look together.”
